TRIAD has declined offers of VAR status and has elected to remain independent for two important reasons:

1) Geographic limitations:  manufacturers impose tight geographic restrictions on their VAR’s.  TRIAD’s model is to partner with Fortune 500 clients, which are broadly  dispersed throughout the United States.

2) Pricing:  TRIAD does not want to be encumbered by a manufacturer’s dictated pricing strategy.  We believe IT hardware prices should be driven by worldwide market supply & demand conditions….a “cost-plus” model rather  than the industry standard, “retail price minus your corporate discount”. 

Finally, With IT technology evolving more rapidly than ever, IT professionals continue to assess whether it makes sense to purchase brand new product for non-mission critical applications.  TRIAD can provide brand new hardware  however, many clients have found that our greatest value contribution can be achieved by supplying  OEM re-manufactured or re-marketed technology.  Whichever solution a client desires, they win financially when partnering with TRIAD, due to our “cost-plus” pricing model.
